A fun way to get an antioxidant boost.
Ingredients
Mango Sorbet
2 cups of frozen mango
1 frozen banana
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of agave
Acai Sorbet
1 frozen packet of acai puree (about 4 oz)
½ cup of blackberries
1 frozen banana
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of agave
Preparation
Add the ingredients for the mango sherbet to a food processor or high-speed blender.
Pulse a few times then puree, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides. Stop when the sorbet has reached your desired consistency.
Transfer the mango sorbet to a freezer-safe dish. I transferred large spoonfuls, leaving gaps between to add the acai sorbet.
Pop the dish into the freezer while you make the acai sorbet.
Repeat steps 1-3 with the acai sorbet ingredients.
Spoon the acai sorbet into the gaps you left around the mango sorbet and gently flatten with a spoon.
Enjoy right away, or pop into the freezer for a short while to firm up.
